1st lesson :
Our group consists 4 people which are Abby Best John and me. At first we came out with a lot of ideas what we wanted to do. We decided to use kidnap(comedy) as a main theme of our one minute film. After that we started to distribute the job. Abby took part of cinematographer and director. Best is editor and actor. John and i are handle to be actress/actor and director. Then we wrote down all the plot story for each scene (location,sound effecting,camera position etc.)
2nd/3rd lesson :
We spent the second whole lesson to film our one minute filming at the sixth form centre. I was struggle with my acting because i have never performed as an actress before. The third half lesson we started to edit the film. We found that the scene we wanted it to be continuous scene needed to retake because the position of the actress did not match with the other scene and with the time limitation, all of our scene was not be able to fit in one minute. So we cut some of the scene out and retake it again.
4th lesson :
All of us watch the final edited version of the film that Best brought it back to his home to editing it. We found some part that the sound effect did not match with the emotion of the film.
OUTCOME
In my opinion of my first piece of work i think it quite good. We are good team working because everyone know what are their roles. We also did well in time management. However , there are many areas that we need to improve.For example , add some dialogue to make the audience understand more about story line.
